Recovery Groups

I've been in music ministry for over 12 years now, and the focus of my ministry has been sharing my testimony of how the Lord saved me from a life of addiction and called me into a better life -- and encouraging people to find their own calling in life. I believe that God has called every believer into ministry of some sort, if we can just listen for His voice and be willing to share the things He's brought us through! When we have difficult things in our past that we are working through, the enemy tries to give us a sense of shame that imprisons us and isolates us. We think if people know the "real us" they will reject us. But God wants to set us free from that shame, and to use the thing we know best--our own story!--to encourage others and get on with our own healing. He can take our mess and turn it into our message.

As half of the "Road to Recovery Tour" ( www.roadtorecoverytour.com ) with fellow artist Leah Martensen, I've been to literally hundreds of Christ-centered recovery groups around the country, and I'm the regular worship leader for a local recovery group, so I'm very familiar with the recovery group setting and sensitive to the unique needs of these groups. I have a program that fits perfectly into the group setting, which includes music, testimony and worship for the evening.

One of the songs I love to share with recovery groups is "Set Free" – you can click here to watch the video on my video page. If you'd like to hear my testimony, "The 700 Club" did a great job of filming that a few years back--you can click here to watch my story on the video page, too.

I'd love to talk with you more about coming to minister to your group. To send me an email and get the ball rolling, click here. The message will go straight to me, and I promise the booking process is very easy. :)
