Lyrics

She's standing in the shadows of the remnants of her life, one hand on the bottle, one hand on the knife. She's wondering what brought her here and how she'll ever leave. She'd say she'd lost her faith if there was ever anything she'd believed. Out of desperation she picks up the phone, dialing out the numbers, feeling utterly alone. When the line connected, she drew a shaky breath; to the person listening she said, "Does anyone hear my cry for help? Does anyone really know? How to turn this pain inside myself from hopeless into hope?" She listened as he told her that he knew a better way, using words like freedom, peace and love and grace. And though it sounded almost just too good to be believed, something in her heart was breaking free when he said, "Someone hears your cry for help, Someone really knows how to turn the pain inside yourself from hopeless into hope." There's a light at the end of the tunnel, just wait, hope will come, oh, there's a light at the end of the tunnel, just wait, just wait...
